Environment Information Management System (EIMS) is a system for providing information for environmental planning and decision-making for the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area.
The environmental information is queried from a data warehouse using Sagent software, then integrated into the EIMS site using ASP. The maps sections links to the Council's GIS maps system. The GIS maps passes back environmental selection data. The Data Dictionary, Data Catalog, Glossary, Contacts, and Related links content is stored in a database and dynamically served to their related web pages. The EIMS main page, shown here, features a Facts or Tips box that randomly shows a fact or tip along with a small graphic each time the page is refreshed. I did 100% of the graphic design and engineering on this site.
